The University of Miami SCUBA Club is a COSO registered student organization and member of the Federation of Club Sports. Membership is open to all University of Miami undergraduates, graduate students, faculty, and staff regardless of diving expierence! Meetings are every Tuesday night at 8:00 pm in Cox 126, with occasional (and announced) changes to 8:45pm meeting times, and we dive every weekend of the semester! Yes, even during football season!

Being a member grants you access to our wide assortment of rental equipment, discounted charter trips, and club-exclusive certification course offerings; from open water diver to divemaster, and beyond!

Weather permitting, we dive every Sunday in the Fall semester and every Saturday AND Sunday in the Spring semester! We typically run an open water level level (<60 ft), and an advanced dive each weekend to give our divers the widest offering of sites possible (schedule subject to change). These weekends are regular day trips to sites in the between Key Largo and Jupiter, with a couple of overnight camping trips to locations including Marathon, Key West, and Ginnie Springs!

In addition to our domestic offerings, the club also travels international dive destinations! We adventure to Cozumel, Mexico each spring for a week of luxury accommodations, sunshine, and sensational diving, and then pack our bags for warmer climates each winter with a spectacular Winter trip. We are going to Fiji in Winter 2023/24… who knows where we might go next year!

If you are not currently a certified diver or are looking for advanced certification please see our learn to dive page for more information.

South Florida is one of the world's top spots for diving year round, so take advantage of UM's great location and come dive with us!
